Bollywood actor, Sanjay Dutt’s wife, Maanayata Dutt often shares snippets of her ‘happily ever after’ with their fans. Recently, Maanayata posted a video of her husband, Sanjay Dutt and their son, Shahraan Dutt walking with crutches. The video left their fans wondering what’s has happened to the father-son duo.
We all know Sanjay Dutt had a rollercoaster relationship with his own father, Sunil Dutt. Still, he makes sure that he develops a friendly relationship with his children, Trishala Dutt (daughter from his first wife, Richa Sharma), Iqra and Shahran (twins of Maanayata Dutt). He is extremely proud of his kids and always look forward to spending time with them.

On August 25, 2021, Maanayata Dutt took to her Instagram stories and shared a glimpse of Sanjay with his son, Shahraan. In the video, we can see the father-son duo holding each other while carrying crutches. Atop it, Maanayata wrote, “Optimal recovery.” Check it out below:
For the uninitiated, Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2020. He had taken chemotherapy sessions for the same in Mumbai. It was a film critic, Komal Nahta, who had confirmed that Sanjay Dutt’s cancer reports were true. And that’s when we spotted the entire Dutt family coming together to support their brother, Sanjay in his fight with the deadly disease. After a tough fight, Sanjay had shared with his fans that he is cancer-free.

Sanjay Dutt had shared the happy news of defeating cancer on his kids, Shahraan and Iqra’s 10th birthday. The actor had released the official statement and had shared that he had defeated cancer. His statement could be read as “The last few weeks were very difficult time for my family and me. But like they say, God gives the hardest battles to his strongest soldiers. And today, on the occasion of my kids’ birthday, I am happy to come out victorious from this battle and be able to give them the best gift I can- the health and well being of our family. This wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering faith and support from all of you. I am eternally grateful to my family, friends and all the fans who have stood by me and been my source of strength through this trying time. Thank you for the love, kindness and the countless blessings that you have sent my way.”
