Only eight players remain in Survivor 49 after Episode 9 aired on Wednesday, November 19, on CBS. There are now three members of the jury, and two players have broken out as the clear people to beat this season.
Survivor 49 Episode 9 featured two immunity challenge winners (one man and one woman), plus another week of Rizo Velovic successfully identifying who should be voted out. Savannah Louie and Steven Ramm ended up winning the two immunity necklaces, and Savannah’s antagonistic comments in Tribal Council prompted Jeff Probst to compare her to Survivor legend Parvati Shallow in the On Fire aftershow podcast.
