One of many key causes for the enduring success of Three’s Firm was its distinctive forged of characters. Amongst them, a favourite of mine was charmingly sleazy used automobile salesman and Jack Tripper’s finest good friend, Larry Dallas, dropped at life by actor Richard Kline.
Richard’s work as Larry Dallas was extremely entertaining as a result of, regardless of the writers sometimes having the character border on being a tad slimy, at his core, Larry was a great individual and a devoted good friend to Jack. I’m not sure there’s one other actor who might have pulled off the character of the best way Richard did.
