Turnstile have introduced the extremely anticipated follow-up to their acclaimed 2021 album GLOW ON. The Baltimore hardcore heroes will launch their fourth album, NEVER ENOUGH, on June sixth, and are previewing the LP with the title monitor and its accompanying music video.
The only “By no means Sufficient” begins with an ambient intro earlier than kicking in at simply over a minute with a grungy guitar riff offering the soundtrack to singer Brendan Yates’ echoey vocals. General, the track falls on the extra melodic spectrum of Turnstile’s discography, revisiting a number of the sonics heard on GLOW ON.
The album was recorded in Los Angeles and Baltimore, and was produced by Yates. The music video for “By no means Sufficient” was co-directed by Yates and guitarist Pat McCrory.
NEVER ENOUGH marks Turnstile’s first album with new guitarist Meg Mills. The remainder of the band is rounded out by Yates, McCrory, bassist Franz Lyons, and drummer Daniel Fang.
Turnstile earned excessive reward for 2021’s GLOW ON, incomes a number of Grammy nominations and being named Consequence‘s Heavy Band of the Yr. The LP’s single “Thriller” took the No. 1 spot on our checklist of the Greatest Metallic & Laborious Rock Songs of 2021.
