The Previous Man won’t have a 3rd season. FX has canceled the drama sequence after two seasons on the cable community. Season two premiered in September.
Jeff Bridges, John Lithgow, Amy Brenneman, Alia Shawkat, and Gbenga Akinnagbe star within the sequence, impressed by Thomas Perry’s novel; it follows former CIA operative Dan Chase (Bridges), who deserted the company a long time in the past and has been residing off the grid ever since.
Based on Deadline, the seven-episode second season didn’t carry out as nicely ratings-wise as season one. The primary season of The Previous Man was launched in 2022 and was a success for the community. Nevertheless, the WGA strike delayed season two for 2 years and that was a blow for the sequence.
