The Neighborhood may be one other CBS sequence getting a spin-off. The community is creating a spin-off that may comply with Marty and Malcolm as they transfer to a brand new neighborhood and study to deal with their new atmosphere.
Marcel Spears and Sheaun McKinney will headline the brand new sequence with three new characters set to look in an episode later this season that might be part of the pair within the new sequence subsequent season if CBS strikes ahead with it.
Deadline revealed the next concerning the plot of the potential sequence:
“The premise of the offshoot echoes that of the mothership in reverse. It follows Marty (Marcel Spears) and Malcolm (Sheaun McKinney) Butler as they embark on new adventures, lastly leaving their dad and mom’ nest to start out the subsequent chapters of their lives, discovering themselves the newcomers in a neighborhood that’s each shut by but worlds aside: Venice Seashore.”
Cedric the Entertainer, Max Greenfield, Sheaun McKinney, Marcel Spears, Skye Townsend, Hank Greenspan, Tichina Arnold, and Beth Behrs star in The Neighborhood, which premiered in 2018. Now in its seventh season, the sequence continues to comply with the Johnson household as they dwell in Los Angeles after transferring from Michigan.
The Neighborhood returns to CBS later this month.
