The Lemonheads have launched a brand new tune, “The Key of Victory,” as the newest preview of the band’s first new album in 19 years, Love Chant. Stream it under.
Recorded at Abbey Highway, “The Key of Victory” was co-written by frontman Evan Dando with Rum Shebeen’s David Ashby, and options Apollo Nove on guitar and harmonies from Erin Rae. Dando’s gruff vocals take the forefront, as he sings about being true to himself and others.

“It’s quiet, it’s bitchin’. It’s fairly and it’s modal,” Dando stated in regards to the monitor in an announcement, revealing that it was impressed by Lou Reed. “I used to be making an attempt to do like a ‘Avenue Problem’ vibe, you understand?”

Love Chant will likely be supported by a global tour kicking off subsequent week with a collection of headlining exhibits and pageant appearances throughout the UK and Europe, adopted by a North American leg launching in November. See the total schedule under, and get tickets right here.
