The Franchise won’t be returning for a second season. HBO canceled the satire collection a bit over a month after the finale of the collection aired.
Himesh Patel, Aya Money, Jessica Hynes, Billy Magnussen, Lolly Adefope, Darren Goldstein, Isaac Powell, Richard E. Grant, and Daniel Brühl starred within the collection, which adopted a forged and crew of a superhero movie.
In accordance with Deadline, an HBO spokesperson stated the next concerning the cancellation of the collection:
“We’re so grateful to have had the chance to work with the tremendously proficient workforce behind The Franchise, particularly Sam Mendes, Jon Brown, Armando Iannucci, and this hilarious ensemble of actors. Whereas we gained’t be transferring ahead with one other season, we look ahead to collaborating with all of them sooner or later.”
The cancellation of the collection just isn’t all too shocking. The collection didn’t enter Nielsen’s Prime 10 streaming rankings after its launch.
