The unlikely pairing of The Avett Brothers and Mike Patton, together known as AVTT/PTTN, is making its way to concert venues in 2026. Today, the collaborative project has announced a US tour in support of their self-titled debut album.

Following a performance at the Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, Tennessee on March 28th, the outing properly kicks off with a two-night stand April 9th and 10th in Louisville, Kentucky. The tour runs through a June 20th gig in Waukegan, Illinois, hitting such cities as Nashville, San Francisco, Dallas, Brooklyn, and Cleveland along the way.

The tour news comes on the same day that AVTT/PTTN have released their self-titled album, a fully collaborative effort between the Avett Brothers and Patton. The LP was co-produced by Patton, Scott Avett, and Grammy-winning engineer Dana Nielsen (Metallica, Rihanna).

“Mike’s part of our DNA, like the fabric of our youth,” stated Scott Avett of the Faith No More/Mr. Bungle singer. “Literally, we studied him. He’s a dear friend now, but when we were younger, I was imitating him.”

Patton added, “My peculiar challenge in this was to become a long distant cousin. A brother that was orphaned. Maybe they kept him in the chicken coop or some shit. They brought him out years and years later.”

In addition to the tour, AVTT/PTTN are embarking on a promotional run in New York City this month, including an album signing at Rough Trade on November 24th; an “Evening With” performance and discussion with Eric Andre presented by the Grammy Museum on the 25th; and a performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on the 26th.
