In November, dreampop veterans The American Analog Set will play their first east coast headlining shows in two decades.
Taking place in Brooklyn, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC, the band will present “The Magic Hour,” an intimate live show featuring a carefully curated 90-minute set spanning songs from their first six albums. Tickets are available through the band’s website.
Alongside the tour announcement, The American Analog Set have reissued their debut album, The Fun of Watching Fireworks, via Numero Group. The album has been remastered from the original analog tapes and is available in multiple formats, including special edition silver/grey Too Tired to Shine vinyl, a Numero-exclusive blue Firework Splatter vinyl, standard black vinyl, and digital download.
Numero Group has also released New Drifters, a 5xLP box set collecting the band’s first three albums along with two discs of demos and other ephemera from their storied history. Up next, the label plans to issue a second box set spotlighting The American Analog Set’s Tiger Style-era releases in the near future.
