Stumble is headed to NBC. The community has ordered the mockumentary-style comedy sequence for subsequent season. The sequence will take viewers into the aggressive world of junior faculty cheerleading.
Jenn Lyon, Taran Killam, Ryan Pinkston, Jarrett Austin Brown, Anissa Borrego, Arianna Davis, Taylor Dunbar, and Georgie Murphy star within the sequence written by siblings Liz and Jeff Astrof.
Based on Deadline, the sequence was ordered simply days earlier than the choices on the forged contracts ran out. The Stumble pilot was standard in inside screenings at NBC, so it was prone to be picked up.
