If you’re a fan of cinematic psychedelia, SHOLTO’s brand-new album The Sirens is a must-listen. This track is a groovy, interstellar gem – perfect for any collection that thrives on cosmic vibes and a fearless urge to drift beyond the familiar. A true invitation to float through the unknown.
I had the pleasure of listening to the record a few days ago, but am yet to built a full-fledge opinion on the wonderful experience created by the 12 tracks. I feel this could be the best work of London-based producer, composer and drummer to this day. That being said, I felt the absolute need to spotlight one of my favourite songs on the album – the subliminal “Ghibli’s Dream”. Smooth, alluring 70s synths, mystic a-la-The Doors ambiance and tight drums, this is the kind of dream that will take your mind to some distant places. I was instantly drawns to the track and the gateway towards the unknown in created.
A perfect fit for our global psychedelic playlist (Spotify / Apple Music).
