Shaboozey is bringing “A Bar Track (Tipsy)” to the Nation Music Affiliation Awards. On Thursday (Nov. 7), the Virginia native was introduced as a performer alongside the likes of Teddy Swims and Submit Malone, the latter of whom he competed towards for 2024’s longest-running No. 1 on the Scorching 100 chart.
Followers can count on to see Shaboozey do a reside rendition of the aforementioned tune in addition to “Freeway,” which additionally appeared on Could’s The place I’ve Been, Isn’t The place I’m Going. The 12-song LP notably housed surefire cuts like “My Fault” that includes Noah Cyrus and the BigXthaPlug-assisted “Drink Don’t Want No Combine.”
As for nominations, the Nigerian-American artist is vying for Single of the 12 months, with Malone’s “I Had Some Assist” and Chris Stapleton’s “White Horse” being among the many rivals. Elsewhere, Shaboozey is up for Finest New Artist. The CMA Awards will happen on Nov. 20 on the Bridgestone Enviornment in Nashville.
