Queens of the Stone Age have introduced an audio launch of their new live performance movie Alive within the Catacombs. The recording is about to reach on digital platforms Friday (June thirteenth) and on limited-edition vinyl on August twenty second through Matador Information.
Housed in a gatefold jacket with foil print inside and outside, the Alive within the Catacombs vinyl version incorporates a 24-page booklet of behind-the-scenes images taken by long-time collaborator Andreas Neumann. Every copy is pressed on one-sided vinyl and housed in sleeves individually foil-stamped and numbered by means of 5,000 copies.

The five-song efficiency was recorded with out overdubs or edits and noticed the band’s lineup of Joshua Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita and Jon Theodore augmented by a three-piece string part, with chains and chopsticks used as makeshift percussion devices.
