Portugal. The Man have returned with a brand new tune titled “V.I.S.”
Spanning practically 4 minutes, the only begins with a cool, dusty electrical guitar lead line, bending out and in of blue notes over a gradual beat carried by the rhythm part. On the verses, John Gourley ruminates on childhood fears and reminiscences, with allusions to under-bed monsters, graveyards, his father’s hat, and extra.
