Pamela Anderson says that she was as soon as assaulted on a aircraft after being mistakenly confused for a member of The Chicks.

The Golden Globe-nominated actress and star of The Final Showgirl recalled the incident throughout an look on the Glad Unhappy Confused podcast on Monday.

“This one time, I used to be on a flight and this man got here as much as me and mentioned, ‘Are you aware what this nation’s accomplished for you?’” Anderson recounted. “And I used to be like, ‘Oh, my God. What have I accomplished?’”

Anderson mentioned that the person continued to snarl and stare at her all through the flight. He finally tried to bodily assault her and needed to be restrained by a flight attendant.

He “thought I used to be a Dixie Chick,” Anderson continued. “Do not forget that entire Dixie Chick factor? I virtually bought killed on a aircraft.”

The Chicks, previously generally known as the Dixie Chicks, famously confronted intense criticism from conservatives in 2003 after lead singer Natalie Maines publicly condemned President George W. Bush for america’ invasion of Iraq.

Anderson, who didn’t specify when the incident occurred, admitted that she “was scared to fly after that, a little bit bit.”
