The unique Alice Cooper band has launched the brand new tune “Black Mamba,” which includes a visitor spot by Robby Krieger of The Doorways.
The only comes a pair days after Cooper and firm introduced their first album in 51 years, The Return of Alice Cooper, arriving July twenty fifth. Because the LP’s opening observe, “Black Mamba” kicks it again to ’70s-era Alice with a crunchy blues-rock sound and the identical murky psychedelia that outlined the unique Cooper band’s earliest albums corresponding to Pretties for You and Simple Motion.

Talking with Billboard, Cooper described the observe as “positively an Alice Cooper, from-the-ground-up tune” that took place through the album classes. Krieger, a pal of the band since its days in Los Angeles within the late Sixties, was tapped for added guitarwork.

The album was produced by longtime Alice colleague Bob Ezrin, who helmed the board for the seminal albums launched by the unique band within the early Nineteen Seventies — Killers, Faculty’s Out, and Billion Greenback Infants — in addition to Alice Cooper’s current solo albums.
Beforehand, Bruce, Dunaway, and Smith reunited with Cooper for 2 songs on the latter’s 2021 album, Detroit Tales.
In the meantime, Alice will probably be lively together with his present dwell band in 2025, as nicely, with spring/summer season headlining dates and a co-headlining fall run with Judas Priest on the horizon. Get tickets right here.
