Olivia Rodrigo and Feist joined forces to pay tribute to The White Stripes during the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Immediately following Jack White’s speech, the pair took the stage to duet on “We’re Going to Be Friends” — a fitting song, given how White’s speech ended with a poem he’d written about when he and Meg first started making art together.
Rodrigo previously called Jack White “my hero of all heroes,” while White returned the admiration, describing her as “very cool, very real, and very much a lover of music.” She was also part of the R&RHOF tribute video package, where she said, “The White Stripes proved to the world that you don’t need a lot of frills to make music that moves people” and called “Seven Nation Army” “the most iconic song of all time. It’s just ingrained in us as humans.”
