Netflix’s One Piece Season 2 has finally set an official premiere date, and the popular action-adventure series will return sooner rather than later. An early 2026 window was speculated ever since it was announced to bow out next year, but the streamer has now confirmed that fans won’t have to wait long to see the Straw Hats venture into the Grand Line.
It has been announced that One Piece Season 2 will debut on Netflix on March 10, 2026. Alongside the release date announcement, a batch of new images of the Straw Hat Pirates visiting Drum Island was also revealed. The stills feature Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Jacob Romero as Usopp and Taz Skylar as Sanji. The crew can be seen in the castle of the kingdom of Drum, which sits on top of a tall, snow-covered mountain. You can check out the images below.
The second season of One Piece will again consist of eight episodes, with all chapters dropping on the March premiere date. The Straw Hats will be entering the Grand Line, a vast and treacherous sea containing the world’s most exotic islands. The pirate crew will encounter plenty of new enemies, as well as recruit some allies that will play key roles in their quest to find the One Piece. As teased by co-showrunner Joe Tracz, the final leg of their journey in Season 2 will find the group on Drum Island, leading them to a castle some people believe is inhabited by a “witch.”
“It’s our medieval, Winterfell [on] Game of Thrones location, where you have this haunted-seeming castle at the top of a snowy mountain inhabited by someone the villagers say is a witch.”
