Netflix is making yet another video game adaptation, and this will be a treat for longtime players. Hailing from the same developer behind The Last of Us and Uncharted, an iconic kid-friendly action adventure series has yet to receive an official adaptation. That will change soon enough, as the biggest streamer in the world is looking to bring Crash Bandicoot to life on the small screen.
According to What’s on Netflix, the streamer is developing an animated series based on the Crash Bandicoot video game franchise. It’s unclear who exactly is producing the project, but it will join an esteemed list of game adaptations on Netflix, including Arcane, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, and most recently, Splinter Cell: Deathwatch. Crash Bandicoot was developed by Naughty Dog, which released the first installment in 1996.
More to come.
