Mumford & Sons have shared their new tune, “Malibu,” the opening monitor and second preview of their upcoming album, RUSHMERE.

A religious, uplifting tune, “Malibu” was co-produced by Mumford & Sons with Dave Cobb, who helmed the brand new album. Propelled by full of life acoustic guitar, banjo, and piano, the monitor builds to a crescendo as Marcus Mumford sings: “You might be all I would like/ You’re all I would like/ And I’ll discover peace beneath the shadow of your wings.”
“‘Malibu’ was the primary tune we wrote once we received again collectively in Los Angeles in January 2023,” Mumford added in a press assertion. “The tune simply felt like us, and the method of recording it with Dave [Cobb] captured it on file in a means that made us really feel it needed to open RUSHMERE. We like it.”
