    “Maria” cinematographer Edward Lachman received the Function Movie prize on the thirty ninth annual ASC Awards, February 23 at The Beverly Hilton. His shock win beat out Academy Award favorites “Dune: Half Two” (Greig Fraser) and “The Brutalist” (Lol Crawley), in addition to “Nosferatu” (Jarin Blaschke), “Conclave” (Stéphane Fontaine), “A Full Unknown” (Phedon Papamichael), and “Depraved” (Alice Brooks).
