Lorde has returned with “Man of the Yr,” the second single from her upcoming album Virgin.
Described by Lorde because the track she is “proudest” of from Virgin, “Man of the Yr” speaks to her evolving emotions relating to gender. In her latest Rolling Stone cowl story, she defined that it was written within the wake of adjustments to her contraception (that finally culminated within the IUD seen on Virgin’s art work).
