Next year marks the 25th anniversary of the theatrical release of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. To celebrate the occasion, Warner Bros. and Fathom Entertainment are bringing the extended editions of each film in Peter Jackson’s trilogy back to the big screen in January.
The Fellowship of the Ring was followed by The Two Towers in 2002 and The Return of the King in 2003. The films will be shown in DBOX format from January 16th through the 19th, followed by standard formats from January 23rd through the 25th. Tickets are available now on Fathom’s website.
