London-based, German-born singer Naesia (whose “Take Me Excessive” we featured final month) is again along with her debut EP Indecisive, written, carried out & produced by herself.
The closing tune, “Mr. Mysterious,” is a memory about previous courting experiences. Concerning the thrill and frustration of being captivated by somebody elusive—unpredictable, cold and hot, and unimaginable to decipher. Naesia elaborates:
“You recognize deep down they might not be best for you, but the thriller retains you intrigued and I tried to craft a sound that mirrors this complicated emotional panorama. This observe embodies the inner battle of fascination and warning, and I felt it was the proper lead single for the Indecisive EP, because it encapsulates the theme of uncertainty and emotional tug-of-war that runs all through the challenge.”
The music options marvelous syncopated drums, funky basslines, spacey pads – and Naesia’s easy, soulful vocals that briefly flip hip-hop mid-track. Hope that is sufficient to persuade you to comply with her craft any longer.
