Kevin Spacey‘s financial troubles from his sexual assault and harassment lawsuits continue to mount, with the actor “living out of hotels” as he struggles to find work.’
Discussing his stalled career and financial woes with The Telegraph, Spacey revealed that due to mounting legal fees, he had been forced to move from the Baltimore home where he resided for 12 years. “The costs over these last seven years have been astronomical,” Spacey said. “I’ve had very little coming in and everything going out.”
He continued: “I’m living in hotels, I’m living in Airbnbs, I’m going where the work is. I literally have no home, that’s what I’m attempting to explain.” Though he notes that he’s avoiding bankruptcy, the scandals have thoroughly uprooted his life. “You get through it. In weird ways, I feel I’m back to where I first started, which is I just went where the work was. Everything is in storage, and I hope at some point, if things continue to improve, that I’ll be able to decide where I want to settle down again.”

Last year, Spacey made an emotional appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, breaking down in tears as he revealed he was “broke” and would almost certainly lose his Baltimore home. He also recently called for the release of the Epstein files, even though he himself was alleged to have flown on Epstein’s plane horrifically dubbed “The Lolita Express.”
In 2017, Spacey was accused by over 15 individuals — including actor Anthony Rapp — of sexual assault, harassment, battery, and soliciting sex from minors. Several of his cases have been dismissed (though two of his accusers died before having the opportunity to go to trial), and Spacey was found not guilty in both US and UK courts in 2023.
