Joanna Gaines has taken on a brand new position since her eldest daughter, Ella, left the nest for her first 12 months of school.
“When Ella went off to varsity, I grew to become the caretaker of her plant infants,” Gaines captioned a current Instagram video of her 18-year-old’s dreamy bed room, which is roofed with potted crops on practically each floor. “I hope these fairly crops like me as a lot as they favored her!🤞🧚😅#plantlady.”

When requested by Immediately‘s Savannah Guthrie if Ella could have “probably the most tricked-out dorm room ever,” Joanna revealed that she let her daughter take the reins along with her room makeover.
