Jerry Adler, who famously performed Herman “Hesh” Rabkin on The Sopranos, has died on the age of 96.
The Brooklyn native appeared in 27 episodes throughout six seasons of the HBO sequence, portraying a Jewish mortgage shark and trusted advisor to James Gandolfini’s Tony Soprano.
Extremely, Adler didn’t start performing professionally till his 60s. Even so, he had a number of notable credit to his title past The Sopranos, together with roles in The Good Spouse, Rescue Me, Northern Publicity, Mad About You, and Broad Metropolis.
