Jason Momoa is writing and starring in his personal historic epic for Apple TV+ titled Chief of Warfare, and it lastly has a launch date. The upcoming miniseries follows the colonization of Hawai’i and contains a largely Polynesian forged on the forefront.
Apple TV+ formally introduced that Chief of Warfare is ready to premiere on the streamer Aug. 1, 2025, and can then launch new episodes on a weekly foundation till mid-September. Along with Momoa, the forged of Chief of Warfare options Luciane Buchanan, Temuera Morrison, Te Ao o Hinepehinga, Cliff Curtis, Kaina Makua, Moses Items, Siua Ikale’o, Brandon Finn, James Udom, Mainei Kinimaka and Te Kohe Tuhaka.
