Jamie xx is again with a brand new standalone single, “Dream Night time.”
The brand new track follows Jamie xx’s 2024 return LP, In Waves, his second album and first since 2015’s beloved In Color. The songwriter, producer, and DJ has been performing “Dream Night time” all through his summer time pageant tour, with the track being featured throughout his units at Lightning in a Bottle, Primavera Sound, LIDO pageant, and Glastonbury.

With slow-burning dynamics and a wistful vocal pattern on the core, “Dream Night time” looks like an extension of the throbbing tenor present in In Waves. The track’s syncopated synths begin to bloom across the halfway level, with a short reprieve within the bridge giving method to one other thumping, climactic chorus.
