Prabhas is celebrating his 46th birthday on October 23, 2025, and the makers of his upcoming period drama have officially announced its title as Fauzi. The team unveiled the first-look poster, presenting the Rebel Star in a completely new avatar – standing in front of a burning British flag.
Sharing the first-look poster, the makers wrote, “Arjuna, the conqueror of the Chakravyuha. Karna, who stood on the side of the Pandavas. Ekalavya, who had no guru. He is a warrior by birth. #PrabhasHanu is #FAUZI – the bravest tale of a soldier from the hidden chapters of our history. Happy Birthday, Rebel Star #Prabhas.”

Featuring Prabhas in the lead role, Fauzi is touted to be a period action drama set in pre-Independence India. The film is expected to showcase the Rebel Star as a British Indian Army officer.
Social media sensation Imanvi is set to play the female lead, while veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada, and Anupam Kher will appear in key roles.
Prabhas’ next films
Prabhas will next be seen in the horror-comedy The Raja Saab, slated for release on January 9, 2026, coinciding with Sankranthi/Pongal.
Directed by Maruthi, the movie tells the story of a carefree youngster who plans to sell his late grandfather’s mansion for a huge profit. However, things take a grim turn when his grandfather’s malevolent spirit opposes him, leading to a series of humorous and chaotic events.
The movie also stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, and others in pivotal roles.
Looking ahead, the Saaho actor is set to begin shooting for his cop actioner titled Spirit. The upcoming film will feature Prabhas as an angry young police officer who locks horns with an international drug syndicate.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the movie will have Triptii Dimri as the female lead, marking her debut in South Indian cinema. According to reports, the action-packed venture is planned as the first installment of a franchise and is expected to conclude on a gripping cliffhanger.
Filming is reportedly scheduled to begin in February 2026 in Mumbai, before moving to various international locations.
