Followers of NBC’s Friday night time comedies had some excellent news because the weekend kicked off. In line with Deadline, the community has ordered three further scripts for Glad’s Place and Lopez vs Lopez.
Glad’s Place has been a success for NBC. Reba McEntire, Melissa Peterman, Belissa Escobedo, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk, and Rex Linn star within the comedy collection, which follows Bobbie (McEntire), who inherits her father’s bar after his demise and learns she is operating it with the half-sister she by no means knew she had.
Lopez vs Lopez is in its third season and stars George Lopez, Mayan Lopez, Selenis Leyva, Brice Gonzalez, Al Madrigal, and Matt Shively. The collection follows the fictional father-daughter relationship between George and Mayan as they wrestle to restore issues.
Ordering further scripts is step one earlier than ordering extra episodes of a scripted collection. If each reveals proceed to carry out properly within the weeks forward, extra scripts or a full-season pickup might be requested.
