On Monday (Aug. 11), Gunna dropped the music video for “simply say dat,” one of many many surefire cuts from his newest album, The Final Wun.
Directed by Spike Jordan, the visible companion opens with a hilarious bit from Desi Banks. “I don’t know, bro. I’m gon’ let you know now, loyalty don’t imply nothing,” he says, simply moments earlier than three Maybachs pace previous him. “What the f**ok is occurring? Is that the president? I don’t wish to hold standing within the rain with you,” the comic humorously provides.
The remainder of the clip follows Gunna as he parades these Maybachs round Atlanta. At one level, we see him cruising previous Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and in one other, he is taking up the Meals Mart car parking zone. After all, Turbo — who dealt with manufacturing on a lot of the album — rides shotgun within the rapper’s whip.

Gunna’s The Final Wun, which many imagine might be his ultimate launch beneath Younger Thug’s Younger Stoner Life Data imprint, arrived final Friday (Aug. 8). Throughout 25 songs, the set contains visitor spots from Wizkid, who seems on “ceaselessly be mine,” plus Burna Boy, Nechie, Asake and Offset.
“The visuals match the entire vibe of the challenge: stress, ache, progress and actual reflection,” Gunna informed Rolling Stone in regards to the LP’s cowl artwork, created by Devon DeJardin. “It needed to mirror this second in time, the place I’m at, what I’ve been via and the place I’m headed.”
To date, Gunna hasn’t confirmed if — or when — he’ll take The Final Wun on the highway. What’s locked in, although, is a co-headlining slot with Asake on the inaugural Afro+ Fest on Aug. 31.
