I am not one for alt/pop r&b, however MUANH’s bought me in a chokehold. A couple of weeks after discovering her mind-altering “the dream”, it’s time for extra of that lush and hypnotic sound.

To me, MUANH sounds as if Frank Ocean and Jhené Aiko had a baby, however that little one went again in time and made music within the 80s. What I like essentially the most about “child please” is the slight Bon Iver-like melancholy and the truth that it sounds each previous and modern. Ahh, all of the feels!
