To rejoice the landmark thirtieth anniversary of their debut album, Foo Fighters have launched a canopy of Minor Risk’s 1981 music “I Don’t Wanna Hear It.” Stream it beneath.
In accordance with the YouTube description, Foo Fighters initially recorded the instrumentals in 1995, with Dave Grohl ending the vocals this yr. Over blistering guitars and drums, the frontman channels his finest Ian MacKaye whereas maintaining with the music’s brisk tempo.

Grohl has a powerful connection to the DC hardcore scene. He famously wrote a fan letter to MacKaye when he was 14, and later drummed for Scream, who had been signed to MacKaye’s Dischord Information.
“I Don’t Wanna Hear It” initially appeared on Minor Risk’s 1981 self-titled EP earlier than being collected on their 1984 compilation, Minor Risk.
Foo Fighters launched their self-titled debut album in June 1995. The band’s most up-to-date album, However Right here We Are, dropped in 2023.
