Fiona Apple has returned with a brand new tune referred to as “Pretrial (Let Her Go Residence)” that highlights the devastating affect of the cash-bail system on girls, ladies, and, specifically, Black moms.
Based on a press launch, “Pretrial (Let Her Go Residence)” was impressed by Apple’s time serving as a court-watcher in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The tune was produced Zealous and Particular Operations Studios, and created in help of the Free Black Mamas DMV initiative.
