The new trailer for Prime Video’s Fallout Season 2 promises more of what made Season 1 such addictive fun: A chaotic post-apocalyptic landscape filled with great character actors, including Walton Goggins’ The Ghoul showing more humanity than ever as he continues searching for his family.
Also revealed in the trailer are new characters played by Kumail Nanjiani and Macaulay Culkin — as well as the city of New Vegas, something very exciting for game fans. (Especially game fans who want to see Ghoul Elvises get shot in the head.) Central to the trailer is the refreshed team-up between the Ghoul and Lucy (Ella Purnell), a Vault survivor who wants to bring her duplicitous father Hank (Kyle MacLachlan) to justice. MacLachlan pretty much steals the show here, modeling a fancy new suit and cheerfully exploding mice.
Fallout also stars Aaron Moten, Moisés Arias, Leslie Uggams, Zach Cherry, and more. The first season was critically well-received, also racking up 15 Emmy nominations including a nod for Best Drama Series.
