The countdown has begun for the discharge of Shashank Khaitan-directed Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, led by Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor with Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra in key roles. With lower than per week to go for its launch, Pinkvilla has solely learnt that the Karan Johar-produced romantic comedy has been licensed U/A by the Central Board of Movie Certification (CBFC) with an authorised run time of two hours and quarter-hour.
A supply shares, “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is a fast-paced entertainer with a crisp run time of two hours and quarter-hour, which incorporates the beginning credit score roll out and finish credit track too (Good). The makers have tactfully packaged comedy with music and drama in a crisp run.” The run time of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is just like the final two romantic comedies from the duo of Varun Dhawan and Shashank Khaitaan.
Whereas Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania was 2 hours 13 minutes lengthy, Badrinath Ki Dulhania was licensed U/A with a run time of two hours and 19 minutes. “Very similar to Humpty and Badri, this one can be a packaged household entertainer with romance within the forefront,” the supply added.
Speaking of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, the advances are anticipated to open over the weekend, because the movie is headed for a mid-week launch on October 2, 2025 owing to the Gandhi Jayanti & Dussehra vacation. The movie will face the Rishab Shetty-led Kantara: Chapter 1 on the field workplace.
