When heard alongside it’s music video, “Selfridges” takes on a playful, uplifting charm that’s sure to warm your heart. As we dive into the lyrics however, Enny’s songwriting is quite vulnerable as she dives into some of the lessons she’s had to learn the hard way. I especially loved how she interchanges between slow and fast flows throughout her rapping, and how she pairs this with soothing vocal performances that breathe life into the chorus.
