Dua Lipa’s “Radical Optimism Tour” kicked off its four-night run at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum on Saturday, October 4th, with a special performance of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain.”
Throughout her 2025 tour, Lipa has been treating audiences to nightly covers, spotlighting songs from local legends during each show. Fleetwood Mac’s members respectively hail from England and Northern California, but their mid ’70s reformation took place in Los Angeles; so, with Lipa’s smoldering alto, “The Chain” was an appropriate choice for her and her band to cover. Their rendition was even more high-energy than the original, with Lipa’s backup singers and instrumentalists bringing plenty of intensity to the 1977 hit. Watch a video below.

Lipa also busted out a cover of “California Dreamin’” by The Mamas and the Papas during her Sunday night show in Los Angeles. Previously on her “Radical Optimism” run, she’s covered Alicia Keys, TLC, Donna Summer, OutKast, Aerosmith, Kelly Clarkson, Ariana Grande, and dozens more.
