David Byrne recently stopped by NPR for a Tiny Desk Concert in between dates of his expansive world tour in support of his new album, Who Is the Sky? Watch a replay below.
Though the Talking Heads founder had to downsize his elaborate stage production to fit the 10-by-11-foot space, Byrne still managed to bring along more than a dozen performers, who played instruments including cello, saxophone, marimba, and a Brazilian timbau and zabumba.

During the four-song set, Byrne opened with two tracks from his new album, “Everybody Laughs” and “Don’t Be Like That,” before transitioning into a pair of Talking Heads songs: 1988’s “(Nothing But) Flowers” and a lively version of “Life During Wartime” from 1979’s Fear of Music.
