Cinnamon Solar’s vocal efficiency is as clean as silk on his newest launch “Freedom” – a heat, groove-soaked soul monitor mixing dreamy guitars and clean rhythms.
Fronted by the grounded Davy Simony, Cinnamon Solar is a Cairns-based alt-pop/hip-hop band that transports listeners to a Tahitian bar underneath the orange setting solar, with all worries misplaced. Their good new monitor “Freedom” encapsulates this sentiment with its uplifting message and colourful instrumentation. The synths are vibrant, the guitars are lush, and the bass line could have you swaying your head from begin to end. I can not neglect to say the consolation offered by the vocal efficiency, particularly with the repetition of the phrase “Freedom” over the shiny refrain.
“This monitor is about remembering the peace and freedom that already dwell inside us,” shares frontman Davy Simony. “It’s a name to return to that interior sanctuary — to maneuver from a spot of calm, select alignment, and realise that we are the sunshine.”
