Christopher Meloni teased his return to Legislation & Order: SVU with images alongside Mariska Hargitay and Dann Florek — and followers can’t wait.
On Saturday, August 2, the actor behind Elliot Stabler took to Instagram with a trio of images that thrilled followers of the beloved NBC police procedural sequence.
“Hangin with mates on a Friday nite @therealmariskahargitay @dannflorek,” Meloni, 64, captioned his replace.
Within the featured picture, he and Hargitay, 61, posed with their heads pressed collectively whereas in character as Stabler and Olivia Benson, respectively, on set. A second snap confirmed the duo standing with Florek, 75, who performs Donald Cragen in SVU. Lastly, the third phase of the carousel featured Meloni along with his arm round Florek.
Within the feedback, Meloni’s followers have been thrilled by the robust trace that Stabler would reunite along with his SVU costars. He left the present in 2011 following Season 12.

After departing SVU, Meloni reprised his position as Stabler for the spinoff Legislation & Order: Organized Crime in 2021. Season 5 of Legislation & Order: Organized Crime was moved completely to Peacock. As of writing, it has not been formally renewed for Season 6.
Legislation & Order: SVU Season 27 kicks off this fall; a premiere date has not been introduced.
