(Prime Video)
Carrie is headed to Prime Video. The streaming service has ordered an eight-episode collection primarily based on the Stephen King novel.
In response to Deadline, Mike Flanagan is the author, government producer, and showrunner for the collection. Summer time H. Howell is in talks to star as Carrie White, and Siena Agudong is about to play her nemesis, Sue Snell.
The collection is a reimagining of the King novel. Vernon Sanders, head of tv at Amazon MGM Studios, mentioned the next concerning the collection:
“Carrie is an iconic story that has withstood the check of time with continued cultural relevance. With Mike Flanagan on the helm and the completed crew assembled together with government producer Trevor Macy this provocative collection is bound to captivate our international clients.”
The premiere date for the collection will probably be introduced later.
