Bridgerton book fans are sure to take comfort from author Julia Quinn’s reaction to Season 4, as the author recently got candid about having already seen the full season.
The writer, who spoke to WBZ News, a CBS affiliate, shared, “I have seen the whole season, and I think it’s amazing, I think people are gonna love it, I really do.” As die-hard fans of the Netflix hit from Shondaland already know, Season 4 is set to release in two parts beginning on Thursday, January 29, 2026, with four installments.
Based on Quinn’s third novel in the Bridgerton book series, Season 4 takes inspiration from An Offer From a Gentleman, the story of the second-eldest brother, Benedict (Luke Thompson), and his romance with Sophie (Yerin Ha), whose last name has been changed from Beckett in the book to Baek for the show to reflect Ha’s Korean heritage.
“It is probably closer to the book than the other seasons, which is fun for me,” Quinn added. “I’m just excited for everyone to see it. I think you all will love it.”
