Just in time for Halloween, Tim Burton’s classic goth romance Edward Scissorhands is getting a 4K Ultra HD remaster to celebrate its 35th anniversary. Pre-orders are ongoing ahead of its digital and physical release on October 28th. The 4K restoration upgrades the film to Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos sound. With spooky season officially upon us, Smashing Pumpkins and everyone’s favorite upscale organic grocery store, Erewhon, have come together to launch a new smoothie: the appropriately named “OG Goth.” In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Pumpkins’ famed 1995 double album, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, the band will donate a portion of proceeds from the “OG Goth” to the Concussion Legacy Foundation, a nonprofit focused on supporting athletes, veterans, and others affected by concussions and chronic traumatic encephalopathy, better known as CTE.
