Isaiah Falls and Alex Isley have teamed up for their incredibly smooth listening experience “JUST A DREAM”, a track that’s bound to set the mood right if it’s date night with your loved one. Isaiah Falls is a multi-talented artist from the city of Orlando, Florida who draws inspiration from r&b, soul, and hip-hop. Albeit his craft balances nostalgia and a modern aesthetic, and that’s exactly what we step into on “JUST A DREAM”. The bounce of the drums along with the percussion is reminicent of the 2000s, while the dreamy keys intertwine with the soft guitars to form an…
Lorde has officially joined over 1,000 artists and labels in the “No Music for Genocide” boycott, blocking her music from being streamed in Israel. Other acts, like IDLES, MUNA, Caribou, and TOKiMONSTA, have followed suit as well. In its own words, the “No Music for Genocide” movement is a response to “the genocide in Gaza; ethnic cleansing of the Occupied West Bank; apartheid within Israel; and political repression of Pro-Palestine efforts wherever we live.” In doing so, it joined a growing list of entertainment movements with similar goals. In plain terms, the music of the artists involved will no longer…
The title of Klur’s latest release “Seamount” is quite fitting as it feels like you’ve just been submerged underwater through its immersive, weightless aesthetic. Hailing from Sweden, Klur is an artist who likes composing with the balance of organic and synthetic. We even see his connection to nature throughout the visuals of his new album with Enhanced After the Rain. “Seamount” is among the most cinematic pieces on the project with it’s enoumous soundscape and brass hanging over the backdrop. The presence of soft vocals introduce a soulful charm, a feature that complements the track’s hopeful, inspirational tone. Source link

Heavy Song of the Week is a feature on Heavy Consequence breaking down the top metal, punk, and hard rock tracks you need to hear every Friday. This week, we highlight Lamb of God’s new single “Sepsis.” This is sludgy for Lamb of God and an effective change of pace — quite literally — for the Richmond, Virginia vets. Mark Morton’s riffs are bruising at this slower pace, the bass tone is filthy, and Randy Blythe reaches to a deep register that has him bellowing like a heavy metal Nick Cave. Aside from a brief blasty bit, they maintain this…
