The Academy Museum of Movement Photos goes again in time to have a look at the way forward for cinema. IndieWire can announce that AMPAS is internet hosting a screening sequence titled “Cyberpunk: Envisioning Attainable Futures By Cinema” on the Paris Theater in NYC that can tie into the museum’s exhibition of the identical title.
The sequence is programmed to accompany the exhibit that first opened in 2024. The curated “Cyberpunk” exhibit will probably be on view on the museum till April 12, 2026. The “Cyberpunk” curation is a part of the PST ART: Artwork & Science Collide initiative, offered by Getty.
