A civil lawsuit accusing JAY-Z of assaulting a 13-year-old woman was voluntarily dismissed on Friday (February 14th).
“Right this moment is a victory. The frivolous, fictitious and appalling allegations have been dismissed,” JAY-Z wrote in assertion responding to the lawsuit’s dismal. “This civil swimsuit was with out advantage and by no means going wherever. The fictional story they created was laughable, if not for the seriousness of the claims. I’d not want this expertise on anybody. The trauma that my spouse, my kids, my family members and I’ve endured can by no means be dismissed.”
The lawsuit, initially filed by Jane Doe towards Sean “Diddy” Combs in October 2024 and later amended in December to incorporate JAY-Z, accused the 2 musicians of raping the then-13-year-old sufferer at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty in 2000.
