The unique Black Sabbath lineup — Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Invoice Ward — will reunite for a remaining present on July fifth at Villa Park within the band’s hometown of Birmingham, England. The all-star invoice will even function an Ozzy solo set, Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, and extra.
The remainder of the lineup will embody Gojira, Halestorm, Alice in Chains, Lamb of God, Anthrax, and Mastodon, making for one of many largest steel gatherings of all time. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 14th, at 10am native time.
The live performance — dubbed “Again to the Starting” — will mark Black Sabbath’s first present since they wrapped up their farewell tour in February 2017. In the meantime, Ozzy hasn’t performed a full present because the finish of 2018, after a sequence of well being setbacks compelled him to postpone and finally cancel the rest of his personal farewell tour.
“It’s my time to go Again to the Starting….time for me to provide again to the place the place I used to be born,” Ozzy acknowledged. “How blessed am I to do it with the assistance of individuals whom I like. Birmingham is the true dwelling of steel. Birmingham Endlessly.”
